The new Student Services Building is the focal point for the College’s Community Learning Center which is a satellite campus for Mira Costa Community College. It was designed to welcome students of all ages and backgrounds. CLL provides classes that are transitions to fully accredited courses offered at Mira Costa’s other campuses. With a construction start slated for late 2019, the 10,000 sq. ft. building houses Admissions and Records, Counseling for students, and Testing Services. In addition a new central gathering space for students that connects with a large landscaped quad and the main classroom building. The project is re-imagined with new parking and landscaping, better lighting for student safety, and improved pedestrian circulation. The quad will also double as an assembly space for graduations and college social events.
